In June we go back behind the curtain. This time with best pals @soundmetaphors 🐬💙🐬💙🐬💙

Field Notes Mix Series 02: Richard Sen
This is the second installment of our Field Notes mix series recorded live at our “House Party”. Featuring Richard Sen holding down the first floor for five hours straight. A properly built set that moved through different gears.
He kept things patient early on, let it build naturally, and then pushed deeper as the night went on. Around three hours in, he leant over and said, “this is a wicked vibe Sam, I’m just getting started.”
This set is a good reminder of what happens when you give someone the time and space to do it properly.
Five hours of fun with the Sen, baby.

Field Notes Mix Series 01: Ruf Dug
For the first instalment of the Field Notes Mix Series, we welcome Manchester-based selector, producer and all-round cosmic guide Ruf Dug. A longstanding figure in the UK’s underground, Ruf Dug has carved out a singular path through dub, disco, house and Balearic explorations - equally at home behind the decks, in the studio, or running his influential Ruf Kutz label.
Recorded live at our Space Safari party, this mix captures Ruf Dug in his natural habitat: guiding a dancefloor through deep, psychedelic rhythms and sun-soaked grooves. Known for his intuitive, anything-goes approach, he threads together leftfield selections and timeless cuts with an effortless flow, creating moments that feel both transportive and grounded in the room.
This mix documents that energy in full - two hours pulled straight from the dancefloor, reflecting the spirit of the night and the sounds that continue to shape Ruf Dug’s ever-evolving universe.
We first stumbled across Borokov Borokov through their cult DoYou Radio cameos - and things escalated quickly.
Think angular synth pop hijacked by hi-NRG, krautrock, acid, elektro-punk, supra-freudian elektrapunk, birthday-themed acid house, no-no wave, polyphonic panic attacks or multilingual lamentation and full-blown sonic identity crises. Every track feels like a failed escape attempt from a musical straitjacket - except the failure is the point.
Origin story bonus: their first drum machine was rescued from a rubbish dump in Borsbeek (Belgium, I think).
Make your own mind up from the videos, but we think it’s going to be fun.
Happy to announce that our audio partner for 7th February with @rufdug and @djdanielebaldelli will be @kikuno_nl
We’ve worked with @kikuno_nl from the start and it’s safe to say Yuji is an absolute master of his craft. These beasts are tuned to perfection for the room the party will take place in. Anyone that has been to an event with these speakers know it’s worth coming for the audio experience alone
Last slide is for the heads 💙
