“This teaser is about taking a stance as an Italian and as a citizen of the Western world, reflecting on the legacy that Columbus represents, with my touch of sarcasm. Rejecting that call is symbolic: it’s not just about a wrong number, but about refusing a narrative that sparked centuries of harm. It’s a call to rewrite history with respect, restoring dignity to Indigenous peoples as important and equal protagonists of today. As descendants of that history, we must neither impose our culture nor assume that we can offer systems without invitation. Instead, we must humbly seek dialogue—asking if collaboration is desired—and act with deep respect for the cultures we engage with.
The world needs all of us as one sacred family, raised by different cultures, striving for a future where better lives and opportunities are shared by all. By humbly weaving our cultures, roots and identity, together, I truly believe we can shine and flourish toward a more peaceful world.

My work has always been about details.
The small decisions, the textures, the things that might seem secondary; but are not.
Because details are never just details.
They’re how we read the world and people.
Still 1492 is about that.
A reminder that what we choose to focus on, and what we ignore, shapes the story we tell.
We’ve been working deeply on every part of this project, taking care of each element with intention.
Excited for the questions it will open.
