I love how tunes live and get adopted and adapted by different circles. I first heard this tune on the @raynagellert album Ways of the World, which I bought on CD at Merlefest in 2002. Been seeing it pop up again and only recently heard these words written by Lorie, but this is the only verse I remember. Hey @lizzie.cahalin , when are we getting a recording by @theridgeramblers so I can learn the rest?

Glory In The Meetinghouse
There are many great old versions of this fiddle tune featuring different modalities and tunings. This version is inspired by the playing on the sublime new @josephdecosimo album. With layers of organs, electric guitars, and sparse percussion, the album pulls out the trance elements of old time and tickles my brain in the same way that a late night session does when everyone is grooving together. Here I’m experimenting with using only a bridge pickup, then digitally re-amping it and adding plate reverb and tape delay.
