Not every book I read this year, but a lot of them! Favorites were the Sheila Heti, Knausgaard, Helen DeWitt, Vigdis Hjorth, Helen Garner, Michelle Tea, Lisa Tuttle, and Fernando's bullshit artists.

Good morning 2026. I have two goals for the year and they are (1) move my body and (2) bring back single-image instagram posts. Last night at the party a friend told me my aura was cunty and they thought I hated them when they first met me. "But I get it now! And I LOVE it!" Sorry if I made that first impression on you too, it's not intentional I swear (I'm just Chinese). I'm not making it a goal to be less cunty (never!) but I do hope moving my body will make me more open to feeling - and expressing - the good and bad and all that. And I hope it gets easier to call people my friend and to say I love you (again - so Chinese). Maybe that's too many wishes. 12 grapes is a lot of grapes to eat all at once.
