Spring cleaning my garden. 1st pic from September, 2025. The bittersweet vine was beautiful but we soon realized that it was killing all our trees and the trellis had rotted through. 2nd pic is from today. I finished demo of the trellis and major pruning to the bittersweet. I’ll probably have to kill it but, until then it’s an amazing plant. A bit maniacal 😈 for my gardening skills
My other obsession is cutting records on my old Presto K8. Here’s a 1/1 hand painted hand cut free range 7” square lathe. Lathe cutting is very similar to embroidery. I am not actually cutting grooves with the lathe, the sound is embossed on the polycarbonate square at very precise pressure. Huge thanks to @lathecuts for the magic formula!
I work in my studio everyday 1-8pm. Thursday has become the day I open the studio to my friends that need studio space for creative projects or just want to hang and talk while I work. It’s pretty sweet chill times
Heres one I made to look it while I make these wicked metal tee collages. It helps remind me that not every one of these needs to be so dripping, ripping and shredded. 🤘🎸🤪
