Recordiau bore dydd Sul #13 Sunday morning records - Meic Stevens ‘Rue St Michel’ yn fyw ym Mhafiliwn Corwen, noson wobrwyo Sgrech 1982. ‘Ar y Rue St Michel y mae gwres yn yr awel pan mae’r gwanwyn yn troi tua’r haf’. A beautiful historical document of a record. Back in the 80s this huge barn in Corwen used to regularly fill with thousands of drunken Cymraeg language music fans - on this occasion for the ‘Sgrech’ magazine annual awards. Featuring the legendary Meic Stevens doing his even more legendary song about a street in Rennes, Brittany

My record buying habits vary year on year, but I do still love a local record shop - the randomness of what you might find, the tidy new and messy old shops, the interesting chats with owners.
