I’m proud to share my contribution to the Assassin’s Creed Shadows – Claws of Awaji DLC, now released. I’d like to share a great opportunity I had thanks to @ubisoftbordeaux and @ecole3is_bordeaux Alongside Melissandre Hennuyer, Audrey JOSSE and Jeremy COTO, I had the chance to share our knowledge and experience in video game animation and technical animation with the next generation of animators and artists. During this presentation, I mainly focused on the role of a Lead Animator, particularly how animation reviews evolve depending on the type of animation and the different stages of production. I also talked about how quality expectations shift throughout production, and how leads help guide teams by balancing feedback, consistency, and production constraints.
