12 founders entered. 5 made the cut. And from those 5, three walked away with a share of £90,000. But only one took the crown.
Last night’s Investment Arena Grand Finale was everything we hoped it would be, and then some.
🥇 First place and £50,000 goes to Jide, founder of
@pearextension , and what makes this even sweeter? He won it on his birthday. The bridge between crypto and everyday commerce just got a whole lot more exciting.
🥈 Second place and £25,000 goes to Dhilon Solanki, founder of
@mystorylocker . A performance that commanded the room from start to finish.
🥉 Third place and £15,000 goes to Tommie Edwards, founder of
@peoplexyz.ai .
But the night had one more moment. Cornerstone VC were so moved by the quality of pitches in that room that they gifted an additional £10,000 in investment on the evening, £5,000 to Jide and £2,500 each to Dhilon and Tommie. That is what it looks like when investors back people, not just ideas.
This was not handed to anyone. Every round was earned, every decision scrutinised and every founder in that room left everything on the floor.
To all 12 who stepped into the arena: that courage is the beginning, not the end.
Jide, we cannot wait to see Pear Extension soar. 🚀
