3 weeks ago I got a message from Sneako’s tour team saying they were interested in collaborating for his MALAYSIA IRL TOUR, asking me to represent as a Malaysian clothing brand designer and make a pair of pants for him.
This is easily one of the craziest projects I’ve touched. Like..making jeans for someone who’s been behind the scenes with @ye during album work🤯! it really pushed me to take this piece to another level.
Seeing Sneako actually rock with the jeans, showing love to them, and hearing the positive Ws feedback from the chat while thousands were watching the IRL stream..that moment meant a lot🙏🏽.
Big love to @altprincekl@putraadib for making this happen. Wouldn’t even be here without that connection🖤#sneako

been working on this crust set for a while now, just taking my time with it and not rushing anything. the studded vest alone carries around 800 studs, all placed one by one by hand, no machine, no shortcuts. lowkey lost count halfway but kept going anyway lol. the whole process was repetitive but that’s kinda the point, just sitting there locking in, letting it build up slowly until it felt right. nothing about it is clean or perfect, and I didn’t want it to be either.
the shorts are fully scab stitched, layered with patches from bands I actually listen to like discharge, aus rotten etc. , not just throwing names on for the look. every patch, every stitch got its own placement for a reason, even if it looks chaotic from the outside. same with the waist bag, made that from scratch just to tie everything together, didn’t feel right pairing it with something I didn’t make myself yk. it’s all connected in the same way I listen, wear, and live in it.
this whole thing isn’t about trends or trying to make it look “fashion”, it’s just me putting time into something I believe in and wearing it how I want. if it looks rough, good. if it looks overdone, even better. that’s where it’s supposed to sit.
not for mass production, not chasing anything commercial. just personal work. and yeah before anyone gets it twisted, this ain’t about capitalism or selling out culture. free Palestine always 🇵🇸☮️.
