I had the opportunity to share my experiences as a queer person growing up in Georgia and here, in Germany with @weise_helena and @sitaraambrosio for @taz.die_tageszeitung Living in Georgia was often challenging and harmful, and leaving was a necessary step for my safety and well-being. I hope that by sharing my journey, I can shed light on the realities many queer people face and inspire others to embrace their own path toward freedom and self-acceptance. Speaking openly about my struggles and traumas is never easy, but reflecting on them and sharing my story has been much easier.
