Feyleux is a dark alternative duo that emerged in mid-2023 seamlessly blending dream pop, darkwave, and post-punk to create their distinct sound. Their debut album, “Midnight Hearts,” released via the Swiss Dark Nights label, showcases cutting-edge bass synthesizers, cascading guitar melodies, and ethereal harmonies. Drawing on the vibrant gothic synth-pop aesthetics of the 1980s as well as modern darkwave. What’s their connection to music? “As an active touring band that crosses the boundaries of the darker side of the underground scenes, we are deeply moved by how that music connects people during challenging times. We aspire to bring some of this joy of expression from the shadowy realms across the country.” What’s inspiring them right now? “The artists we’ve mostly been listening to on the road and who inspire us to keep moving are @bootblacks @dil.dox @yama.uba.music @ductape_official @noxnovacula @night_in_athens @diavolstrain @tearsforthedyingband , and many more. It’s challenging to choose favorites in this dystopian landscape.” What are they bringing to Stylus? “We embrace unapologetic DIY aesthetics and creativity, but through a darker lens.
