On the opening night of the FEWK Early Year 2026 showcase, we invited Jessada Chan-Yaem, who also composed the poem for this series to perform a poetry reading.
For the occasion, the “Ethel” shirtdress was crafted from our sun-bleached rose jacquard and worn by Jessada during the performance at Atelier 9 in March 2026.

This rose jacquard is sun-bleached individually over six months, resulting in unpredictable fades shaped by time and exposure.
Inspired by the way roses fade over time, we chose the sun itself as the bleaching process, allowing the fabric to lose color naturally, just as the rose does.

On the opening night, the exhibition featured photographs by Leo Tanapon, a poetry reading by artist and director Jessada Chan-Yaem, alongside Wilted Heart, a rose arrangement observed across different stages of decay by Naraphat Sakarthornsap and Withering Rose, a scent created by Blanchambre.
This marked FEWK’s first physical exhibition, held at Atelier 9, Bangkok. A curated selection of garments was presented alongside their design process and campaign materials, developed through the transformation of roses and the journey of self-reclamation. The space was conceived as a narrative environment, bridging personal experience with art and clothing, allowing visitors to encounter the meanings embedded within each piece.
FEWK would like to thank everyone who attended the exhibition, the artists and friends who helped make it possible, and Atelier 9 for hosting us this year. We look forward to sharing our next physical showroom soon. Please stay tuned.
Back in March, FEWK held its first physical exhibition of the Early Year 2026 series, “Here Lies Bittersweet Poetry,” at Atelier 9, Bangkok. The exhibition explored the idea of let it be through the decay of roses, expressed in garments, installation, and visual imagery.

A showcase and exhibition presenting Early Year 2026, a study of time’s touch and the idea of “let it be.”
Using roses as the key visual, FEWK observed their transformation over six months as they faded, dried, and changed under time and sunlight. These observations became the foundation of the series, shaping garments that carry visible traces of time through material, texture, and form.
13–15 March 2026 / 11 AM – 8 PM
(Closed at 5 PM on 14 March for a private event)

ARC OF ACTION
This arc describes a shift from control to movement. When restraint can no longer be maintained, action follows. Endings are final and irreversible, creating momentum that replaces hesitation. Decisions are made quickly, and clarity emerges as a result of action rather than reflection. Resolution is reached through change, not balance.
