I used to watch @thomaspridgen and his Gospel Chops homies via camcorder footage as a teenager and realized my journey towards drumming was probably futile based on the distance between him and I. He became my favorite drummer of all time almost instantly and I stopped calling myself a drummer because I believed he embodied everything a true DRUMMER is. Not only do I still believe that, but in the most wild turn of events, I get to play with him in one of my bands and in this particular moment, thanks to my brother @ryanseaman and his kit that happened to be side stage, I was able to try to be a drummer again with him for a few seconds. All that to say- life is wild and sometimes it offers you things you would otherwise never even fathom as a possibility. I'm grateful for you, Mr. Pridgen. It was your birthday yesterday, but we'll celebrate you every damn day 🐐
