KEMI “ANCHOR BABY” BADENOCH AND THE SCOURGE OF THE CLAYTON BIGSBYS Clayton Bigsby was the Black, blind fictional character on the Dave Chapelle Show. He became a leader of the Ku Klux Klan through the popularity gained from writing derogatory drivel about Black people. He was later revealed to be a Black man when he unwittingly lifted his usual veil covering. The new Clayton Bigsby types are not blind in the literal sense but their perverted ambition for a fast-tracked path to prominence, leads them to blindly cosplay for white supremacy regardless of the harm to Black people. They are not motivated by any moral or ideological conviction. They are grifters who opportunistically seek to boost their pedestrian existence, by shitting on their own people for acceptance and patronage of the white establishment. A prime beneficiary of this traitorous trend is the recently elected Leader of the British Conservative Party, Kemi Badenoch, a British-Nigerian anchor baby. She checks all the right-wing boxes – the very racist Margaret Thatcher is her hero; she is against teaching CRT (Critical Race Theory) in schools; supports the deportation of Black refugees to Rwanda; against DEI; she is against reparations; she said “not all cultures are valid” in reference to accepting immigrants from Africa and elsewhere. You get the picture. With Donald Trump’s election as the next President of the United States, we expect the resurgence of a new gang of wannabe “Black conservatives” playing political pick-me to gain their masters’ attention and reward. Our communities must sniff out these renegades from the jump and nip their treachery in the bud before they gain any prominence. IF WE MUST DIE – ARE THERE LESSONS AFRICANS CAN LEARN FROM THE SITUATION IN PALESTINE? Black, African leaders and governments around the world have kept their criticism of the Israeli massacre of Palestinians to an insignificant whimper. Except for South Africa’s efforts at the ICC - Black political institutions like the African Union (AU), the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) have shown that they are either scared, compromised, or noncommittal to offer any rebuke of the slaughter of the Palestinians. From the outset of the conflict, Pan-African minds advocated that Black people should sit this one out even while acknowledging the monstrosity of the Israeli actions against the Palestinians. This ambivalence by Africans to come to the aid of the Palestinians was necessitated by the past and present history between Africans and Arabs. Overall, expending moral, political, and military capital on the Palestinian cause has proven to be too much of a hill to die on. The cautionary tale here for Africans is not to become complacent and assume that what is happening to the Palestinians cannot happen to us in Africa. Might is right is a dictum that the world powers and emerging powers alike are adopting to force consent. No where is as resource rich and desirous to the others than sub-Saharan Africa. Our state of powerlessness leaves us vulnerable to forced occupation. If Israel can lay claim to the whole of Palestine based on disputed, antiquated history dating back to 70 AD., what can stop the Chinese or any other superior power from annexing parts of Africa based solely on the pretext that all humans emigrated from Africa 2 million years ago? These Black volunteers were prevented from heading to the war zone by the American government. This display of racial solidarity coming from African Americans towards continental Africans has been waning over the past decade for a variety of ominous reasons that we must identify, address, and seek resolutions to stem the trend. So, what can we do to improve the pipeline of Black America’s aspiring leaders so that they become more impassioned about supporting Black and African interests even where it is at variance with white America’s Manifest Destiny? Should we self-finance our Black leadership prospects so that they are more independent? Should the Black American community encourage the Pan-Africanist indoctrination of our people? Should African countries implement outreach initiatives such as citizenship for African Americans to evoke a sense of belonging to the motherland? WILL WHITE SOUTH AFRICA’S STRANGLEHOLD ON THE ECONOMY LEAD TO VIOLENCE? White South Africans are 8% of the population; White South Africans own 75% of the land in the country; White South Africans control 90% of the economic activities in the country; White South Africans, in spite of their Apartheid past, still have whites-only homelands like Orania, Balmoral and Kleinfontein – an anomaly justified in the constitution under Section 235 and guarantees that identified cultural groups are entitled to self-determination. The snaillike speed of the improvement in the lives of the majority Black population since the end of Apartheid is largely due to the incompetence and corruption of the ruling ANC party. For some, Nelson Mandela developed a Stockholm Syndrome-like relationship with his former jailers with compromises like the Truth and Reconciliation Commission - a shambolic exercise that ultimately “sacrificed justice for reconciliation”. As the next election in South Africa approaches on May 29, opposition EFF (Economic Freedom Fighters) led by Julius “Juju” Malema, has promised to reverse a lot of the ANC concessions - the key one being expropriating White lands without compensation. The ruling ANC has grudgingly come on board EFF’s hardline stance on this and other existential issues of importance to the very survival of Black South Africans. As expected, White South Africans are against any compromise that would level the playing field for Black South Africans and some of them have gone on record to proclaim their willingness to wage a war against the South African state. Is it time for Black South Africa to seek the much-desired retributive justice and pacify White South Africans to appease the spirit of their ancestors? Or are there other alternatives for a peaceful resolution of the contentious issues? THE “GOOD BLACKS” VERSUS “THE BAD BLACKS” - WHOSE SIDE ARE YOU ON? The most effective and often downplayed institutional lever that can catapult one aspiring leader over another, irrespective of their qualifications, is their access to and acceptability within the gatekeeping class. These political gatekeepers are, in the Black diaspora – mainstream media and money and in Africa - the backing of Western and other world powers. Lately a dichotomy of leadership styles, mostly fueled by these influential gatekeepers, has emerged within the global Black political class pitting the “Good Blacks” against the “Bad Blacks”. The “Good Blacks” are often liberal, accommodationist, integrationists, internationalists, and capitalists, who see themselves as pragmatists and often tend to get favorable press. The “Good Black” favors integration at all costs, disavow Black nationalism; works within the framework of established political power and are very hesitant to do anything that might upset the interest of the dominant political groups within society. The “Bad Blacks” are passionate idealogues, Black nationalists, nonconformists, social segregationists, angry activists who are sick and tired of the global status quo that has stagnated the emancipation and development of Black communities. Concepts such as: Self-Determination, Group Economics, Nationalism, Socialism and Pan-Africanism, are some of the tenets that the “Bad Blacks” live by. Lately the “Bad Blacks” message of self-actualization has been breaking through the gatekeepers’ mass communication firewalls and resonating with a younger, dynamic, global Black audience. If both sides mean well, albeit within their silos, whose side will you choose to join? Or rather, should we be working to bring the two sides together for our greater good? ARE AFRICANS PREPARED TO DEFEND AGAINST A NEW SCRAMMBLE FOR AFRICA? ✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿 Erik Prince is the founder of Blackwater, a mercenary military company actively supported by the United States government and government agencies all over the world looking for a third party to do their dirty job. A war profiteer, Erik Prince has led military companies whose capabilities could easily subdue half of the countries in Africa combined, in one fell swoop. He exudes the justified confidence derived from mostly getting his wish using force. ✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿 So, the man knows what he speaks of – his companies are in business with some of the same corrupt African leaders that he is criticizing. As an arrogant American, he speaks the quiet part loud. China, India, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, The Qataris, etc., all also covet Africa’s riches and have surreptitiously been buying up swaths of the land mass across sub-Sahara Africa. Ostensibly, these lease purchases are for agricultural purposes and convoluted carbon credit schemes. Corrupt, myopic African leaders are mortgaging the future of our children. ✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿 The next Berlin Conference for the recolonization and exploitation of Africa will not be exclusively European like its forebearer and will not be hosted in Berlin. As things stand today, China and not America, will be the main protagonist of the new colonization of Africa. Other world powers share Erik Prince’s incredulity at the waste of valuable resources and our seeming inability to value-chain them and would love nothing more than to take them out of our helpless hands. ✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿 How prepared are we to withstand the inevitable force that will be deployed against us in Africa to take our land and resources? ISRAEL THREATENS SOUTH AFRICA’S BLACK LEADERS. SHOULD WE BE CONCERNED? South Africa’s heroic decision to take Israel to the World Court at the Hague for the Crime of Genocide against the Palestinians has put South Africa’s Black leaders squarely in the crosshairs of the Jewish state’s well-documented vengeful, retaliatory and vindictive state policy. South Africa’s leading role in bringing the case against Israel to the World Court was motivated by their experience during the apartheid years; Nelson Mandela’s support for the Palestinian struggle and Israel’s collaboration with the white apartheid regime in South Africa, which protracted the apartheid system in South Africa by a decade according to some estimates. At the prodding and insistence of the opposition EFF leader Julius Malema, the ruling ANC party decided to take up the mantle as the world’s conscience and sue Israel at the World Court. This action on South Africa’s part has led Israel to accuse South Africa’s Black leadership as “criminally complicit” and “…culpability for the tragic loss of human lives” and assured South Africa’s leaders that history “will judge you without mercy’. This is coming against a backdrop of white South Africans volunteering to fight alongside the Israeli Defense Force in Gaza, which the SA government has declared illegal and the suspicion by some in South Africa that the emerging agitation for a separate white nation in the western cape of South Africa is backed by Israel. With Israel’s explicit threat against South Africa’s Black leadership, should we be concerned that South Africa’s Black leaders like EFF’s Julius Malema, Naledi Pandor, Minister of International Relations, and others, will be subjected to Israel’s notorious targeted assassinations and what can we do to prevent such an occurrence? It is a public holiday in the Republic of Benin. ✊🏿✊🏿 As we gradually look to reclaim our African spiritual identity, January 10 must become a notable, revered, and celebrated day across Black communities in the diaspora. ✊🏿✊🏿 FEVA TV has started production on our show ORISHA AFRICAN SPIRITUALITY, to educate and bring awareness to our own unique religious and spiritual practices. IS BLACK ENDOGAMY THE ANSWER? Endogamy, the practice of mating or marrying strictly within a racial, ethnic or religious group, is gaining widespread popularity among socially conscious Blacks in North America. As several prominent, mostly Black males, are perceived to be the victims of a racist judiciary system in the adjudication of domestic and or sexual assault cases between Blacks and whites; there has been a groundswell of opinion pointing to the adoption of endogamy in the Black community. The unfortunate case of Jonathan Majors, the budding superstar actor of the Marvel comics fame, has added urgency for the consideration of this social practice amongst Black people. He was recently convicted of two counts of reckless assault and harassment against his white ex-girlfriend. A case considered by many as one of the most blatant miscarriage of justice in recent memory. Bringing a once promising career to an almost certain inglorious end. What do you think?
