I legit thought we were going to a birthday party!!😂
My man had been telling me about his friend’s 30th birthday for almost a month. He kept updating me about the planning stress, being the “Coordinator”. At some point I even offered to help with a few things to ease him of the stress.🤣
This man forwarded the graphics design for the party, a week to the event and told me some SANS and his mentor would be there so he needed me to look my best because he’d introduce me to them. Then he started sending dress options to me, asking about my hair, nails and makeup, even planned with my friends because he knows I hardly wear makeup and love keeping it really simple. They had a whole WA group chat for all of these!
On the d-day, we drove to the venue, he took pictures of me in front of the birthday banner and we walked into the “birthday dinner”.
I’m just glad I kinda gave them a tough time because how did they not let me suspect a thing?😭
My man gave me the sweetest surprise proposal ever and the love you all have shown us ever since we got engaged, gladdens our heart so much.
