Some bikes are built to perform. Some are built to last. Very few are built to carry very deep emotion.
Tosca is one of those rare few.
Johan came to us with a brief unlike any we’d received before. He wanted his next road bike to carry the emotion he experiences when listening to Puccini’s opera, the intensity, the beauty, the tragedy. He asked us to put that feeling into a bike.
So we listened. To the music. To him. And then we started building.
The frame is based on our Scalatore platform, refined, precise, made for the road.
The red shifts and deepens across the tubes, echoing the opera’s emotional arc. It begins as life and passion, and as it darkens, it moves toward the final act. That specific tone took months to get right.
The Tosca figure is hand-painted by Eva directly onto the frame. One of a kind, by definition.
The golden strings bring the whole composition alive, the moment when everything clicked into place.
Components were chosen to complete the story: Campagnolo Super Record from Italy, Schmolke carbon from Germany, an Italian saddle. A deliberate tribute to European craft, the same tradition Tosca belongs to.

Fifteen years ago, I was sitting with my friend Ondřej and we decided we wanted to build a bike.
For a few friends. Nothing more than that.
The first customers were supposed to be people we knew. They weren’t. Strangers came first.
People who had found us somehow and decided they believed in what we were building. That surprise never really left us.
Since then, Festka has gone through more phases than we can count. Each one harder and more interesting than the last. Each one carried by people who gave this work more than their time.
Our engineers who ride the bikes they build.
The hands in the workshop who know each frame before it leaves. Our dealers around the world who carried this story into places we couldn’t reach alone.
Fifteen years of riders, of builds, of moments we were part of without always knowing it.
We didn’t set out to be part of those stories. We just tried to build the best possible bike for each specific person.
