Meet Levi Tuinstra, one of our Outstanding Grads 🎓
As a member of Ferris State Football’s championship teams, Levi learned the value of discipline, teamwork, and leadership. In the classroom, he found a passion for helping others create strong financial futures. "I would not change anything from the past four years."
He found success in every area. He won championships, built lifelong friendships, connected with mentors across campus, and discovered a mission to help student-athletes navigate NIL opportunities and financial literacy.
His advice?
↪️ "Find people you can enjoy being around. Iron sharpens iron. Being able to study with them, and bounce ideas off them, you become the five closest people you're around. Find people who are smart, who have the same priorities as you."

From serving in the military to becoming a campus leader, Abby’s path to graduation is unique.
"The moment at Ferris State that made me feel like I chose the right path was the professors making me feel like I belonged and helping me transition from the military to civilian life."
As a first-gen student whose journey spans all facets of life, she has used that experience in her hands-on learning, leadership roles, and real-world work in hospitality.
Her advice?

Stephen Bender, CIS student, spent a semester studying abroad in the Netherlands. He gained new confidence, independence, and a once-in-a-lifetime experience. From navigating daily life and biking everywhere to forming close friendships and traveling across Europe, he turned challenges into growth and made the most of every moment.
