Words are not enough to recap the past few days. What a magical weekend, truly. 🥹♥️ When I started this account, it was just me and my bestie @recsbymelissa then along the way we collected some local Newcastle girlies, alpha readers, ARC readers, and some of those turned into street team members. I wanted to do a small launch party and told my street team, never expecting any of them to make a journey all the way to Newcastle. Not only did some do, but they also came with surprises! 😭 We’ve spent every day chatting, and when we met for the first time, it felt like we’ve known each other forever. Thank you so so much for making this so special for me. I love you all (and that includes the other 29 members who couldn’t make it too!) ♥️♥️ Starfallen is out now and is currently charting #80 in Dark Romance 😱😱

Before I decided on self publishing, I did so much research and wish there were more posts like this telling stories and timeline of how people land a publishing deal (audio or print) because I had a biiig dream and I wanted to get there fast and I didn’t know if it was even possible 😂 So here we are. I hope new indie authors find this useful. I would like to say again that everyone’s timeline is different. Some big authors take years to land a deal. Please don’t compare yourself to anyone. The purpose of this post is to share stories and tell you that it’s possible. I’m still nowhere near I want to be, but we’ll all get there someday ✨
