As photographers, our inspiration comes from many places—fashion, architecture, and the spaces where art and nature meet.
Azulik Uh May, an artistic sanctuary in the heart of the jungle, offered the perfect setting to explore that intersection.
In collaboration with Anikena, Azulik’s in-house fashion label, we created a wedding-inspired shoot where every detail—from the sculptural surroundings to the handwoven designs—spoke the same language: one of connection, ritual, and art in its most natural form.

Cuando Lu me escribió para crear su look para la gala de Vogue en Copacabana, sentí un verdadero desafío… y una emoción inmensa. Inspirándonos en la mística de Iemanjá, diosa de los mares en Brasil, y en las criaturas de las profundidades, comenzamos un viaje creativo que nos llevó a este diseño único.
Cada detalle cuenta una historia: sogas teñidas con pericón y yerba mate, una cola de vestido pintada a mano con tintes y desechos naturales que evocan los paisajes submarinos, y un corsé de tweed envuelto en diminutas lentejuelas. El bustier, completamente bordado y tejido a mano con guipur y cristales, refleja la luz como si fuera el reflejo del agua en movimiento.
