This track is my first attempt with the Setar. Ever since I discovered Asadi back in 2020, I’ve been inspired to level up my skills with Maschine and dive deeper into this traditional instruments.💥
Last year, my family gifted me a Setar from @salamuzik , and it’s been such a fun challenge stepping out of my comfort zone, while also finding some similarities to the muscle memory I’ve built from playing bass and guitar.🎸
Ylthara is a musical journey that blends my recent interests in everything from medieval music and Middle Eastern folk to 80s synths and techno. 🪩
