Honored to have been named @ctlibraryassociation ’s Legislator of the Year — along with @repkavrosdegraw @senatorduff @senatorcecimaher @tonyhwangct (they hadn’t given it out in more than 5 years, so we’re all 2026!). Eleni, Tony and I worked together to pass our nation-leading ebooks legislation to support libraries in negotiating against the publishers’ onerous demands and prices just for libraries. Bob and Ceci led on the Right to Read legislation (which I was proud to support). A special honor for a big nerd and lover of books and libraries! 📕 📚

POV: The staff see the social media boy coming their way. No librarians were harmed in the making of this reel…just mildly inconvenienced. #LibraryLife #LibraryHumor #Stamford

Sometimes it’s not just the books. Stress, pressure, everything piling up; it adds up fast. You don’t have to carry it alone. This Mental Health Awareness Month, we’re proud to partner with @stamfordymha to remind you that support is here, at the library and beyond. Visit stamfordyouthmentalhealthalliance.org and find resources today. #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth

At our latest Joe R. Sexton Lecture Series, @beckyaikmanauthor brought the women of Spitfires out of the margins and into full view: WWII pilots who flew aircraft into uncertainty, faced down fear at 10,000 feet, and refused to live within the limits set for them. Swipe to see the highlights 📸

A $1,000 gift and a major moment for the city.    Thank you to the Stamford Run Club for their generous donation to the library following Stamford’s first half marathon in 30 years. Their support helps keep our programs, collections, and community spaces going strong.    And congratulations on bringing this race to life in Stamford. An incredible achievement for the whole community 👏
