Conditioned to Conceal
We’re often conditioned to hide the body’s honest reactions. But there is beauty in the curve of a spine, the pull of skin, the lines we inherit from living. A sunburn meant to heal. A posture shaped by effort. Our bodies are in constant negotiation with the world—reacting and adapting. This project is about making those reactions visible.
Muchas veces nos enseñan a esconder las reacciones más sinceras del cuerpo. Pero hay belleza en la curva de la espalda, en cómo se estira la piel, en las marcas que nos deja el simple hecho de vivir. Una quemadura de sol que está sanando. Una postura formada por el esfuerzo. Nuestros cuerpos están en constante diálogo con el mundo: reaccionan, se adaptan y resisten. Este proyecto busca hacer visibles esas reacciones.
