4 spins around the sun and what a ride so far. We want to wish everyone a belated merry Christmas and a happy New Year, but beyond that we want pause at the beginning of this year, and reflect on the fact that we’ve been around for four years now. It feels pretty wild to say that. We struck out with Fera wanting to mix what we love about the countryside with premium designs and original content. To all of you that have supported us along the way, we salute you. Especially anyone right at the beginning who purchased the Heavy Twill Overshirt - one of our very first products - and who didn’t complain when their nipples chaffed on our rookie fabric choice. We’ve come a long way since then but we are still learning, improving, experimenting, and having fun with it. The next 4 years are going to be even bigger and better. Happy New Year, Sid and Declan There are a lot of folk to thank who have been part of the team these last four years but a particular shout out goes to these repeat offenders: @patrick_tillard , @corlitotommy , @christopherarthurjf , @charliejchich , @joshclaysss , @pip.bee , @thomas_straker , @maximillian_weston , @josh_tuckerrr , @colinherberthowell , @robpalmerstudio , @benlamb , @freddiedadson , @_beekindhives_ , Beni, Chambers, Luli, Aisling, Duncan, Liz, our crack squad of investors and the many more who have dipped into the world of Fera.

Meet the host of our new fishing show: Henry Hiscox (@meade_fishing ). He's spent the last six years travelling the globe in pursuit of fishing glory. Find him a puddle, give him a length of nylon, and this guy will try and catch something.  The plan is simple. We are going to send Henry on adventures big and small. Some will be easy. Some will fail horribly. Others will hopefully be perilous. But he’s signed the contract so as long as he catches fish, the episodes will keep on coming.

Watch the full episode of Fly Fishing for Giant Trout at the link in bio. First there was Extreme Fishing with Robson Green. Then came Jeremy Wade and River Monsters. People thought the buck might have stopped there, but out of nowhere Whitehouse and Mortimer arrived on the scene. Now they have all been usurped by a new kid on the block.   We have launched a new long form fishing show on YouTube with Henry Hiscox, AKA Meade Fishing.   This first episode we sent Henry to his home turf, a lake in East Anglia filled with pristine giant rainbows and browns. All under the watchful eye of the Fera founders… Presented by Henry Hiscox @meade_fishing Filmed & Edited by Patrick Tillard @patrick_tillard

May is a dangerous time. We may be out of winter but it is easy to fall into the trap of thinking the weather should be all cloudless skies and hitting the 20s. Here are our key pieces to tide you over until it is Ts and shorts.

We don't only use nets to catch our fish. For spring we've used them to make a jumper. The Saltmarsh, part of our SS26, is partly made from a recycled nylon manufactured from discarded fishing nets collected out the ocean. Not too shabby.
