I cry for everything.
I cry for nothing.
I cry when the coffee’s cold,
when someone says “are you okay?” too softly,
when the world spins a little too fast.
I cry in the park,
in the bathroom of loud restaurants,
on the train, between stops,
on the street where no one looks me in the eye.
My emotions don’t whisper : they explode.
They spill from my eyes,
invisible to most, loud inside me.
I cry because I’m tired.
Because I feel too much.
Because I can’t explain what’s wrong.
Because I don’t know how to stop.
