Developed with Cindy Blackman Santana to yield greater projection for louder music, yet retaining the rich musicality of the OM series.
Ride 22" - A musical, well defined ping but with plenty of body and musical overtones.
Hihat 15" - Versatile, a little bit brighter than the OM Hi Hats, and a little louder and more open.
Crash 20" - Open, full and rich with good volume and projection.

The secret lies in the combination of two woods and DS multi thickness technology. American Maple contains a high amount of sugar which makes the sound crystal clear, while European Maple which contains a low percentage of sugar offers exceptional low mid and low frequencies.

The master cymbalsmith Agop Tomurcuk lived a life dedicated to hand made craftsmanship and innovation in cymbal design. His small notebook contained a lifetime of cymbal making secrets and ideas for the eventual creation of this series. These cymbals are made according to these exacting specifications. They were the last Project of his life. The Agop Signature Series are extremely dark, trashy, dry and complex.

To celebrate the 30th Anniversary, DS Drum is proud to introduce a special production run of only 30 unique pieces. An exclusive snare drum created for the high-end market and for the most demanding players and collectors.
The 30 Anniversary 14x7 Snare Drum is the result of a no-compromise shell design. Its shell features a rare and extraordinary Karelian Birch burl outer ply, one of the most precious and visually distinctive woods in the world. The shell construction starts from a Khaya mahogany core and develops symmetrically with alternating mahogany and birch plies, reaching a total thickness of approximately 12 mm for a rich, focused and authoritative sound.
The R30 bearing edges help define a highly musical tonal character, delivering sensitivity, projection and depth at the highest level. The drum is finished in a high-gloss lacquer over natural Karelian Birch burl, enhancing the wood’s unique grain pattern and natural beauty.
