Last week we came together at Nottingham Contemporary to celebrate the journey of the New Ground project; in partnership with Raleigh Education Trust and generously supported by Freelands Foundation, the project was a 2 year Artist school residency empowering the students’ voices through collaboration between Artists and Teachers. It was a privilege to be involved as an artist over the past 2 years; to have helped forge the relationship with the local community centre, seeing the participating student’s confidence growing and to have been out and about in their communities.

In the past few weeks, I have been experimenting various ways of water play and create so they are suitable for the group I am working with. Studying pigments, mixing and making paints have been so much fun. Now I just need to pack everything then I am ready to delivery my first school residency session tomorrow.

新春愉快！蛇年大吉！ 沒有假放的情況下來拜個晚年。 分享昨天開春學員們畫的歲朝圖，以及上週的有餘圖。 教畫本是無心插柳，每每看到大家在畫畫時的熱誠，和離開工作室時臉上的笑意。我ㄧ點都不敢懈怠呀！那些半夜曬筆，家裡後院挖草選花，行李箱塞到爆的日子也是甜的。謝謝這麼多人在我換了時段後還從晚上追到白天，滿是福氣！
