VOENA is proud to announce a collaboration with Fendi Casa, during the week of Salone del Mobile in Milan. Bringing together a selection of seminal works by Modern and Contemporary Italian masters, to be displayed alongside the company’s exclusive furniture collections; the presentation explores the established dialogue between Italian art and design. Presented within Fendi Casa’s meticulous interiors, the exhibition invites viewers to imagine these works in situ, demonstrating the affinity between collectable art and the considered domestic space.
The display includes works by Lucio Fontana, Enrico Castellani, Agostino Bonalumi, and Michelangelo Pistoletto, beginning with the legacy of Fontana’s spatialist experiments with a rare Olio from his Concetto Spaziale series.
Works by Castellani and Bonalumi employ protrusions behind the picture plane, presenting a sculptural interplay between the work’s surface and the surrounding light. Completing the presentation, two recent Color and Light works by Michelangelo Pistoletto utilise abstract mirror fragments, placing the viewer and the living environment in conversation with the work’s surface.
Visit the display at Fendi Casa until the 26 April.
