We grew up hearing what a man should be. Strong. Silent. Unshakeable. But strength without reflection becomes pride. Silence without wisdom becomes distance. It’s time to redefine what we pass down. The culture shifts when we do. #IBeMan #GuitarmanOfAfrica #ModernAfricanMan #StrengthRedefined #BecomingTheMan

You may struggle to hear me but this is what making out time looks like lol. Thank God for captions! Watching my kids grow (they’re transforming every. Single. Day), always makes me wonder if I’m taking in enough of every moment of their now… It’s easy to let work take over and call it responsibility, but the small moments, the tampering with my guitars, calling me to clean them up when I’m smack in the middle of production 🤦🏾‍♀️… that’s the stuff that actually lasts. It stays with them, it stays with me. Yes work matters (family has to eat) but I think it really just comes down to balance, and being intentional about what you don’t want to miss. #stringsandstrength #leyeshouse

A NEW ERA- A story about timing, instinct, and vision. Femi Leye: I am working with Catherine because she understands both the music and the business. She sees me fully; as a person, a brand, and a product. That kind of alignment is rare. Catherine Equere (TheCathness): I’ve always been fascinated with building brands that can travel. The first time I saw Femi perform, I felt it. The second time, I understood what needed to be done. Some things are not just talent, they are potential waiting to be shaped, refined, and shared with the world. That’s what I saw. And that’s why we’re here. HRC Brand: At HRC, we don’t just work with talent; we build stories, structure vision, and create scale. Femi Leye is one of those rare forces. And we’re excited to bring that magic to the world.

“Be a man” but what does that even mean now? Somewhere between “don’t be soft” and “open up,” a lot of men got lost. So we default to: “How far?” “I dey.” “We go see.” Whole conversations… saying nothing. But men feel. Deeply. Be the provider. Be the protector. But don’t forget, be human. #StringsandStrength #GMA #FemiLeye #IBeMan

That silence after school drop-off hits different after the holidays… The people living in my house went back to school today, and like every time, it’s bittersweet. One minute it’s late nights reading together and them taking over every inch of my space, the next it’s me walking into a quiet house after drop-off. Their beautiful chaos? I’ll never take it for granted. Ever. PS: Just last weekend I was outside feeling like a whole rockstar on #wyflriddim… that same night, the people in my house had me doing full-on storybook character impressions 🤦🏾‍♀️😂

First born sons… this one is for you. There’s a quiet weight that comes with being first. And one thing I picked up from my dad and I’m trying to instill in my son is, “You’re the example”. The one who figures things out first. But somewhere in all of that — you deserve space too. To grow. To rest. To not have it all figured out. If this felt familiar, you’re not alone.
