One thing 2024-2025 taught me: Everything can change in a day
Fear hit like a tidal wave My world tilted Time slowed down
In one moment, every plan, every illusion of control gone
I met panic Helplessness Grief
And I learned something crucial It’s okay to not be okay. Even the strongest women need space to feel, pause, and heal.
But I also met something else My resilience.
And a lesson Not everything deserves me Not my time Not my energy Not my emotional labor
I’m not the adult who swallows tension to keep the peace. I’m not the person who absorbs stress so the team, family, or community “stays happy.” My presence isn’t automatic It’s intentional.
Some situations expect women to bend, fix, absorb, and stay quiet.
Hard pass.
The most radical thing a woman can do is stop volunteering her exhaustion. My worth is not measured by how much I carry for everyone else.
Rest is not weakness.
Boundaries are not rebellion.
Choosing yourself is not selfish.
To every woman learning to protect her peace, honor her limits, and reclaim her energy Happy International Women’s Day.

I come from a line of women whose prayers paved the way.Today I honor the lineage of strong, faithful women who made me who I am.
Women who rose early, worked late, and never let go of faith. Their hands built homes, their words built hearts, and their love shaped generations.Women who worked hard, prayed harder, and loved deeply.
Their sacrifices, wisdom, and unwavering faith are the roots of my strength.
Today, I carry their strength with me—quiet, steady, and sure.
Because of their love, I stand tall—and I pray that my life reflects the same light and love to my children.

I prayed for this child, and the Lord has granted me what I asked of him. Heavenly Father,
With a heart full of gratitude and joy, I lift up my precious daughter to You, a gift beyond measure, born of Your grace and love. After years of longing, of prayers whispered in the quiet moments, You have blessed us with this miracle. Through every trial, through every tear, You were there, guiding us, holding us close.
I thank You for the strength You gave us to endure, the faith You nurtured in our hearts, and the hope You renewed in our spirits. You have shown us that even in the darkest moments, Your love remains steadfast and Your plans for us are perfect.
Lord, as we raise our daughter, may we always remember the power of Your love, the importance of trust in Your timing, and the wonder of Your miracles.
