Hi I’m Mire! An Aussie artist that loves drawing his OCs a little too much. I like to think I’m really friendly to talk to I am just really awkward, but I sincerely love chatting with people! I recently turned 21 and I’m wrapping up my degree with less than half of my placement left, though it has gone on a mini hiatus due to health issues. Going to pursue an MRI to make sure my brain isn’t being destroyed🧍‍♂️
I’m queer, not really mentally well and am very passionate about societal and political topics so my art largely revolves around those things (self centred much lmao). I pride myself on being able to draw almost anything from mechs to backgrounds to gore to furries yet I stick to drawing the same blonde gay loser of an OC every time because I love pathetic men. I have, not joking, hundreds of OCs, yet just… ✨him✨
I intend to make a webcomic of my story Satiation (and hopefully one day finish that half written book about a different story), but in the mean time love running and joining collabs. I also intend to go so ham on Art Fight this year so brace yourself!
I want to reiterate, I am not a cop and I do not intend to be a cop. I have very little respect for the police force and the virulent corruption. I intend to spec into crime data analysis, PI work, victims support or paralegal fields. Adjacent to cops yes but not them. Like when I started this degree of course public opinion of law enforcement was bad but it just got worse and worse over the years, and I feel when people hear especially the “criminal justice” part they kinda get a bad taste in their mouth. You know like a really bad taste as of late. OR they think Dexter, which you know forensics not criminology but fun, camp OR THEY THINK AND HAVE SAID DAHMER. NO WHAT?? PLEASE NO JUST LIKE NO

- I was/am frequently confused for NOT being Australian (by Australians)
- My cats’ names are Pepper and Munch

Pigs belong in barns not in power, I mean ungulates can’t offer the delicate hand needed for fine precision guidance, they’re hooved. They’re loyal to whatever feeds them and eat whatever they can, no matter how disgusting. They have no morals, no spine no conscience, they roll in the mud and love getting themselves dirty, that’s not something to be idolised. They shouldn’t be allowed to flip the dynamic of the slaughter house on a dime, with no rhyme or reason, no law or humanity. No good farmer allows their livestock to get rowdy, in fact a good farmer should now how to control their animals. Though, a good farmer wouldn’t let a pig hold the gun.
I’m sick and don’t really want to have to use all the brain power collabs take so here’s a wip I showed that I just scribbled out
Dorian is that level of unhinged he would destroy the entire world in a heartbeat, he’d do it for a kiss in all honesty.
He’s a vile character but I can’t deny he’s passionate and driven, like in the entirely wrong awful direction but he’s achieving his goals one way or another.

The Famous Painting Collab Part 2! My favourite collab to host just because seeing all of the stunning work makes me feel like I’m in a wonderful art museum right from the comfort of my own home!
I had such a wonderful time with this collab last year that I just knew I had to host it again, so as with last year please check out all of the brilliantly talented artists who participated! Every single one adapted their chosen paintings beautifully.
To go along with the theme of frankly too much going on like my last attempt I went with A Smoking Party by Wilhelm Bendz, arguably a much simpler painting than The Night Watch, seen in my only 24 hours versus the 90 of last years, but I hope that can at least somewhat be chalked up to me improving my speed and streamlining my process! I focused more on the contrast and lighting of this piece instead of the super fine details as has been the trend with most of my recent art, so the zoom in shots (found at the end) do leave a little to be desired, but hey I still really love the piece!
Yvonne and his coworkers are probably nutting out reports or the plan of attack for the month and Reynard is just picking a fight as he always does lmao. I especially loves doing the background of this piece and do actually feel like I nailed it, the humans being a little harder just due to how small they are on the canvas and of course with procreate’s size limitations that really couldn’t be helped

Haven’t posted in a bit lmao, I got a big collab wrapping up very soon that I’m going to start making the slides for but before that how about some old ass story art I just jazz up slightly. Have flip flopped for months and months about actually giving Yvonne this tattoo canonically cause I love the design of it, but then my more rational side fights the other one that no it’s a stupid inclusion. Decisions decisions

I did this quick pose study like ages ago and only know thought to clean it up, silly little cowboy au with Gluttony as the mighty stead because it would thrive as a horse, it would love being a horse. I like drawing it as a horse because Gluttony would thoroughly enjoy kicking the shit out of anything. In fact this isn’t even the first time I’ve drawn it as a horse as you can see by that sketch at the end
It’s long ass hair would flutter in the wind and it would be having a blast, Yvonne is never having a blast though he’s just over everything. Ngl I was more excited about drawing a horse than Yvonne, I’m not good at drawing horses but the challenge is fun cause man are they funky creatures

Mystery meat wine yum gotta love amorphous human flesh drink really great way to wind down after a long day! A toast to all that has been and all that will ever be! For the lambs bare their teeth and the wolves bow their heads!
I’ve been doing collab pieces and making Art Fight references and I grow to hate Dorian more with each passing day, he gets what’s coming to him eventually but there’s a lot of him not getting what’s coming to him and I chose to do that I guess as a form of penance. Yvonne himself is not a good person or character but it’s apples and oranges man
Red, black and white is singlehandedly the best colour palette to exist and it’s impossible to argue otherwise because like come on that’s just being a contrarian
Really just some quick art (like a 30 minute detour) because I’m working on collab pieces that you know won’t be done for a while and I realised I hadn’t posted in a second.
My favourite scenery is snowy dark forests which is hilarious cause bro I’ve barely been in a forest let alone seen snow I lived in a desert for 14 years. Going to really try my hand at some proper horror art sometime soon because I really want to see if I’m capable at making something “scary”
What’s even more terrifying than a dark snowy, seemingly endless forest? Commitment!
The dorky little hair wobble that doesn’t match the run got me through this because every time I watched it back to make sure I hadn’t broken something it made my chuckle
First time ever animating any kind of walk/run cycle and man is it easy in pixel art, like less easy cause his huge coat covers his legs, you know the things that best convey movement, but I think we still got there.
Lowkey this made me sad cause like, my man can not catch a single break he has never known peace.
