“Felt Like Us”
April 2022 my husband and I eloped in Yosemite National Park. Just us, a photographer and a celebrant. Why? Well partly for the magical pictures, but mostly because a big wedding, forced dancing, too much attention, would not have felt like us.
What Felt Like Us was hiking up a mountainside, spending the day exploring together and being completely comfortable and completely ourselves because there was no one else to worry about or have to feel ‘socially switched on’ for. It was the perfect decision for us.
And that is where this passion project came from- I want to help you to have a day that you can truly say “Felt Like Us”.
That might not include hiking at sunrise with no guests, because what feels right for everyone is unique, but I want to be alongside you to cheer you on in making the decisions for your day that feel most like you 💚

This beauty has been one of my greatest encouragers since we were 13 years old. And has now become my unofficial marketer, fierce supporter and biggest celebrant-fan since I stepped into this role. I will always be grateful to have her in my world. Too bad she got married about 8 years too early, but at least her chairs were top notch 🪑

What’s the biggest mistake I’ve made as a celebrant?
One time I booked an overseas holiday for the same time I was meant to be marrying my best mate. Good thing I realised and rectified before I excitedly told him I was going on a holiday…

5 months ago she was delivering a ceremony, photographed by my husband while I checked myself into the birthing suite to welcome this cutie (don’t worry- husband arrived on time 👌🏼)
