HAPPY FELLOWVERSARY - Fellow | DMV!!! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾. We are all hard wired for connection, but building and being in community is rarely easy. That’s why we are so grateful to be celebrating our first anniversary as a community in the DMW area, for queer men of color to find the brotherhood, camaraderie, support and empowerment that we all need AND deserve. Thank you to every fellow near and far, who has helped to make FELLOW|DMV possible! The best part is we are just getting started! More ways to connect and be a part of this space are on the way and it’s being done solely with you in mind. Being out in nature was not only rejuvenating and refreshing, it was also restorative. Fellow’s night at the movies was just what we needed to forget about the woes of the week, enjoy a great film and a much needed time of fellowship! Going to the movies felt fun again! How do we perceive them, and how much of that perception is derived by society, social media, friends & family? * ��What impact has aging had on your physical body, appearance, and self esteem? * ��How much of our perceived attractiveness are we willing to allow someone or something else to dictate? * ��How do we respond to social pressures to look a certain way? Fellow + DC Central Kitchen go together real bad! Check out some of the highlights from our weekend service projects (we were in there Sat & Sun) literally chopping it up!
