2025 was equal parts global despair, self pity, and renewed energy.
I’ll focus on the latter third for this post.
I continue to look back with nothing but immense gratitude for the opportunities provided to me. I thank all my loved ones, friends, and artists who made 2025 as incredible as it was.
It was difficult to pick what to share, but I tried my damndest to get a solid mix of old and new favorites alike.
For those reading along, here are some highlights:
• 🎲 Saw 5 incredible
@brighteyesofficial shows with songs I’ve longed to see performed live for years.
• ❤️ 3 beautiful trips to “war ravaged” Portland with so much hospitality provided by loving friends and the community as a whole. Even had the opportunity to play my first solo show thanks to
@positivityclubmusic
• 🥁 Performed 7 shows with
@future.past.band and had the chance to play drums live for the first time!
• 🐕🦺 Brought our pup to her first concert via Hardly Strictly Bluegrass. She got to see
@cassmccombs and
@joshritter before we had to leave once she started getting fussy. Not bad for her first show…mine was New Kids on the Block so I think she has me beat on cred there.
Social media is weird and honestly sometimes it’s a little void-shouty, but for those of you who take the time to read, watch, or listen to anything I share — thank you and I wish you the best in 2026 and hope we can continue to cross paths. 🤘
