Walking Wires is now live and strutting.
A very personal song inspired by my teenage years traveling with the Circe De Solihull. It was here I met the young gang of knife swallowers, fire spewers and elephant herders - soon to be known as The Parasocials.
Swipe for a journey into the wireverse:
Exclusive demonstration of the patented Kirtley/Slander guitar buggery technique (still banned in 18 countries)
AI generated footage of what the Walkings Wires live debut in 2022 may have looked like if anyone was sober enough to film it.
And finally, incredibly rare footage of the song being written. It’s really that easy.

“Middle English” is out now 🔉
The track was built around a live recording done this time last year with the mighty @domkirtley at @hackneyroadstudios (home to an unbelievable grand piano that still soundtracks my dreams)
Eternally grateful for the divine inspiration of @pearlfishhh and her mind-melting vocals, unmatched squeezing of the Shruti Box and overall explosion of good vibes. Always in awe 🌻
Thanks to @martavaladon for providing sweet slithers of strings (much more to come from Marta in the next release 👀)
Finally, and most crucially, super-producer @werkhouse . A real sorcerer of sound with a level of patience that should be researched by medical science. God bless ya amico ✨
Have listen now if you really wanna lean into those Sunday scaries

Who remembers The Parasocials?
Ask your parents and they will tell you they were once a very busy and widely tolerated band. Tragically, they all perished in the infamous shopping trolley incident of ‘83.
However, thanks to highly unethical AI technology, their unfinished 2nd album has now been completed.
The first single, Motion, was written by Tomer Krail and George Jones - inspired by a very bumpy overnight Megabus to Milton Keynes. To capture the necessary atmosphere, the band used the majority of their massive album budget to install an industrial merry go ‘round in the studio. This was used to induce dizziness and child-like wonder. There were reportedly many heated debates about whose turn it was.
Bonus fun fact: the metal scrapping sound in the intro was entirely unplanned. Rob James was deep in the midst of his famous “leather daddy” era and refused to remove his various chains and buckles. Rob was also known for his unique and undulating “bump ‘n’ grind” playing style - and so an iconic intro was born.
Motion is streaming now - all profits go to Shopping Trolley Awareness.
