BearBones’ first year was what we envisioned and more. We hiked , ran and raced for 50 miles from Bear Mountain to Central Park. Not everyone traversed the entire route on foot, but everyone gave us their all. Even those who had to make the tough decision of dropping earlier stayed around to help, crew, cheer or even pace those who were still on course.
Huge thank you to all the volunteers who drove around and made sure all runners were taken care of, from start to finish. To
@mikesaes for blessing us with that ginger tea. To
@mr_ricky_ for all the bevies. To
@ed7rres for the cool graphics. To
@jaunbiance and
@cheezeven for all the behind the scenes help and having to deal with us 😅. To Marwan,
@chicka__boo , Adam, Rosie . To the personal crews of runners that helped out everyone else as well. To everyone who showed up at the finish line to cheer on. To
@umpz for giving us such dope shots .To finishers who stayed around after their race to help out. A true representation of community, Bridging The Gap between road and trail . Between the short and the Ultra.
Thank you Alex, for never holding back, you were always with us in this journey.
Thank you
@bridgerunners and
@oldmanrunclub @asiantrailmix @xcrossinglinesx fam.
BearBones will see yall again ! Same time next year?
