Here’s a simple little trick that can save you a ton of frustration on site.
If you’re trying to screw two boards together at a 90-degree angle and the screw keeps slipping or walking out, don’t keep fighting it.
Start the screw straight just enough to get it biting.
Then back it out slightly, tilt your drill to the angle you actually want, and drive it home.
That angled drive helps pull the boards together tighter and gives you way more control without the screw constantly slipping around on you.
Simple trick.

I still remember looking at my bank account and seeing $97.
