Jakarta-based designer Felita Fong presents a denim collection inspired by the Cian Cui festival in Selat Panjang, Riau. Created as part of her coursework at Binus Northumbria School of Design (@fashionbinus ), the project explores cultural symbolism through icons like the Becak Motor and Hoo Ann Kiong Temple. Featuring street-style silhouettes, 3D appliqués, and crocheted textiles, the collection blends traditional heritage with contemporary fashion to spotlight the spirit of the festival.
