This is the second film in collaboration with The Gate Worldwide for the Hitachi project. This time, the team featured was @gabrielrocha on frame-by-frame roughs and @andreimallmann.motion , @dalmasomotion , and @iagomotion on AE animations. We called this piece “Responsible & Reliable”, and we loved the result just as much as the first one. In January of this year, I received the invitation from The Gate Worldwide to work on a project of two animations for Hitachi. Eng. Hey guys, I’d like to share with you a very special achievement for me. 😊 I’ve been working in editing, post-production, motion and animation for almost 20 years. The last one is where I found more affinity and decided me specialized. I’ve always been passionate about Apple computers. I had 2 iMacs at the beginning of my career, but as the Brazilian import fees on computer equipments became extremely abusive, I had to migrate for a desk PC. Today, after 10 years, I’ve achieved it. This was a professional goal of mine for a few years and I’m very happy to got it. 🤩 I really wanted a small computer that would be easy to put in my backpack when I need to travel. Now I just need is a portable monitor. 😅 I’d like to thank all my freelance work partners who collaborate with me along this years, my team mates at @animagicstudios and especially my directors @wrkliving and @xjordi360 This was only possible because you all! 🥰 Thank’s God for putting these incredible people in my way! 🙌 Pt-br E aí pessoal, gostaria de compartilhar com vocês uma conquista muito especial para mim. 😊 Já são quase 20 anos de profissão trabalhando com edição, pós, motion e animação. Eu queria muito um computador pequeno e que fosse fácil de colocar na mochila quando eu precisar viajar. This Year, I have the opportunity to collaborate with the guys at @vilafilmes to make an animation for Compass that would be addressed the main agilities and competencies of the company. We used the movie “Inside Out” as a reference and tried to approach it in a creative and simplified way to create the characters and history that represented these aspects of the Compass, and you can checkit out below. This often served as inspiration for me to always stay motivated and continue evolving and growing professionally. . But you know, we need to be realistic in these goals so that “the plan doesn’t backfire.” That’s why I always tried to set goals that I believed would be possible to achieve, such as: Doing my first foreign job and make constantly collaboration with studios outside Brazil. . The dreams were things that I imagined as unattainable, like: Living and working in the USA or being an internationally renowned professional, some things that we know are almost impossible to happen. . Mainly, now with the children’s arrival, many of my goals change and dreams kind of fall asleep. But like that well-known saying: “Everything is in God’s time” and not in our time. . In the middle of a global pandemic (2020), I started to collaborate and became an employee at a foreign studio: Animagic. I learned to speak two new languages, I worked with several very talented professionals from different nationalities, and I did incredibly inspiring works that I never expected to have the opportunity to do. . Last month I received the news: One of our works was not only selected to participate but also won one of the most recognized awards in the motion community in the world. . The Motion Awards by @motionographerpro . The meaning of this for me is like comparing it to the Oscars for film productions. I’m super happy and fulfilled with this achievement, and that awakened a feeling in me that had been dormant for some time. I believe we have a lot of talent and much greater things to achieve. . I’m very grateful to God for putting these wonderful people in my way. Many thanks to all my @animagicstudios partners for making this possible.

Working on short films, stickers, and game productions has been a constant routine for me, and I love it all, but these are things that we can’t share in a short time, and that’s why I haven’t shared content here. Therefore, I am thrilled to share a recent work that I collaborated with the guys at @ourshack.studio They are one of the studios I was most inspired by when I started working with characters and explainer videos, there was no way I could deny an invitation like that.
