I’ve known @voicians for quite a while now so it was great fun collaborating with him on this new track - we went through a ton of different ideas working with the awesome vocal from the talented @felixsamuelmusic and finally came up with this. Starting jiujitsu has honestly been one of the best decisions i’ve made - there’s something special about the contrast of how subjective and arbitrary the music industry can be, with how grounded and objective something like jiujitsu can be. Something about the act of showing up, getting crushed by people who are straight up just better than you, and then going home having gotten some concrete but tiny percentage better than you were before, is extremely addictive but also a great way to keep your ego in check. Being surrounded by people who are so tough and disciplined yet still cool, open minded and able to change and adapt is always really inspiring 🙏

It’s pretty hard to keep up with social media sometimes - definitely not my strong point! Especially when you’re an artist or whatever it can be pretty overwhelming since there’s so much pressure to keep up with it all the time! In any case life is cool whether you remember to post about it or not haha, i’m really grateful for you guys, take care of yourselves please xo
