When
@johanna_paerli invited me to create a music video for her precious double bass, Rosa, it came to us quite naturally that there was no better stage than the métro, that fleeting, in-between space, to mirror the serendipity of everyday mundanity and the spirit of improvisational performance.
Like many music videos made by independent artists, it was a small-budget project. And yet, along the way, the loveliest people gathered around it.
Our beloved editor,
@bettinaenigl , who leapt wholeheartedly into this unconventional process, showed enormous patience and went above and beyond at every step.
@mario_klaus_mk , who made every frame beautiful, explored the possibilities of colour with me even during his busiest months.
@harlishadjidj ,
@vittoriaquartararo , and
@woodywutt , the best assistants and the best company one can get on the shoot like this.
@louis__guillaume and
@jeffwongfilms , who kindly let me take their cameras out for a ride, thank you for the trust.
The sound master team,
@cyrill.ferrari & Michael Cina, I’ve never met you, but I heard you profoundly.
And the loveliest, wildly talented
@johanna_paerli always cheerful, always brimming with ideas, and always inspiring. Thank you for reminding me of the pure joy of creativity.
