Yesterday I presented my very first collection called “Blank Canvas” during Amsterdam Fashion Week. I am honored to be part of the talent program called “Visions Of”.
It all started in December 2019, when I started painting and making a jacket for my graduation project. As a spatial design student, painting something really big and making a piece of clothing was something I had never done before.
After finishing my graduation project I got the chance to be part of the “Visions Of” program. For the past few months I have been painting every day to create my collection called “blank canvas”.
The pieces are made out of existing clothing from Bataviastad and other second-hand pieces. The items are fully painted and upcycled by moi ✨🦋
