Each cell have their own system of organelles that keep them going, which I’ve tried to translate into human anatomy to the best of my abilities. The nucleus acts as the brain, vacuole as the lungs, the mitochondria as the heart…
It’s been a challenging but extremely educational project, I had to study so much to make these even remotely accurate🙈 I didn’t know anything about biology prior to this, because I was a horrible student. The only thing that motivates me to learn anything is cute art..!! I’ll do anything for a creative character concept.

This is how I theorize oysters expel their pearls, it’s the only logical explanation. Anyway, you know how oysters make pearls as a defense against parasites and foreign debris, right? Does that make kidney stones our equivalent of pearls? Or… are pearls basically just kidney stones? Imma have to sit down and ruminate on this for a while…

Pigeon deer!!! Was struck by how beautiful pigeons are, I mean gosh.., they have both cyan and magenta in their palette. Gotta start making more pigeon stuff, they’re so underrated. Rats of the sky✨
