Building strong relationships with schools and students in our community is something we truly value at Feed the Mass. We were honored to visit Franklin High School and donate meals for their Harvest Festival, helping bring people together over good food and community connection.
A special thank you to Janina Butler, SUN Site Supervisor, for sharing her gratitude and speaking about the impact these meals have on students and families. Partnerships like these remind us how powerful community support can be when we come together.
We look forward to continuing to collaborate with local schools and creating meaningful moments throughout Portland.

Last May’s Community Table event at Redd on Salmon was a beautiful reminder of what happens when community comes together over a shared meal. From great conversations to incredible food, the energy in the room was something special.
We’re grateful to everyone who showed up, connected, and helped make the night such an amazing turnout. Events like these continue to show the power of gathering, sharing stories, and building community through food.
This is only the beginning and we’re excited for more Community Table events in the future. Stay tuned.

10 years of serving the community.
Over 1 million meals shared.
For the last decade, we’ve been able to do this work because of the incredible people around us. Our volunteers, staff, partners, donors, and community supporters who continue to give their time, energy, and heart to this mission.
Every meal served represents teamwork, compassion, and the power of community coming together .
Thank you for standing with us through these 10 years. We’re grateful for every person who has been part of the journey.

Huge welcome to David, our new Kitchen Lead!!
David brings a strong background in service and a heart for community, and we couldn’t be more excited to have him stepping into this role.
At Feed the Mass, it’s always bigger than the meal, it’s about people, purpose, and showing up for one another.

We had to bring this one to the table for our Founders Favorite series!
Chef Jacobsen is cooking up Kalua Pig. One of his go to favorites inspired by his Hawaiian roots. Simple, flavorful, and always a crowd pleaser.
This dish is all about good food, good energy, and sharing something special with the community.
Watch the full video and see why this one never misses.

Big love to Chef Marcus from Ms. Delta @missdeltasouthernfood for showing up and showing out at our monthly Oasis event.
This month, he brought the comfort with a beautiful spread of pulled pork, collard greens, and mac and cheese for the community at the Oasis Day Center. Meals like this go beyond food. We truly hope it brightened some days.
We’re grateful for partners like Ms. Delta who continue to pour into the community with heart and intention.
And a special thank you to the City of Portland @portlandgov for their continued support in making moments like this possible.

What we do every day at Feed the Mass is only possible because of people like you.
Every meal served, every class taught, every life impacted starts with community. And right now, we need your support to keep that momentum going.
Your donation doesn’t just fund food. It fuels opportunity, dignity, and connection for people who need it most.
If you’ve been looking for a way to make a real, local impact, this is it.
Give what you can. Share if you’re able. Be part of something bigger.

With the weather getting better, we’re looking forward to more opportunities to gather, collaborate, and bring life to outdoor spaces in Old Town Chinatown.
This video takes us back to the end of last summer — a special day with Tom Herbert of The Long Table, who traveled all the way from the UK to host a beautiful event alongside 24-7 Prayer USA.
We were honored to lend a hand and be part of something that brought people together around food, connection, and community.
More moments like this are on the way.

Behind everything we do, there’s a group of people who show up, give their time, and pour their energy into something bigger than themselves.
To our incredible volunteers, we thank you!! Your hands, your heart, and your commitment make this work possible every single day. From prepping meals to supporting our programs, you are the reason we’re able to serve our community with care and consistency.
We don’t take that lightly. We see you, we appreciate you, and we’re grateful to be building this together. ❤️❤️

From leading in the kitchen to stepping into a new chapter supporting men in recovery, Joe continues to live out what service truly means.
In this video, he reflects on impact, purpose, and showing up for others. We have been lucky to have him at Feed the Mass, and we are excited to see the lives he will continue to touch.
Wishing you the best, Joe.
