Recently, we received an incredible donation of 11,000 pounds of tiny shell pasta from @blountfinefoods and turned it into a true community effort!
What might sound like a simple sorting project became something much bigger. In under 3 hours, every pound was scooped, sorted, and prepared to go right back out into the community. Because of the teamwork from our partners and volunteers, all 11,000 pounds of pasta is now feeding local households across Rhode Island.
@bcbsri , @navigantcu , and @aaanortheast are just a few of the teams gearing up for this September, when we’ll once again put their skills to the test at our annual Mission Impastable event!
