Passepartout Photo Prize aims to support the development of talented photographers from around the world by welcoming innovative and original approaches to contemporary photography. First screened at the Cannes Film Festival's Directors' Fortnight in 2022, and recently included in Vimeo's staff picks, HAPPY NEW YEAR, JIM is a short film by @andreagatopoulos for which we curated the poster design, as well as the title design, post production, subtitles and DCP.
The design was included by Mubi among the best posters of the edition, and thanks to the collaboration with @naffintusiclothing it was declined on a very soft streetwear, and on stickers that appeared in the city.

Terra Nova - The Land of Long Shadows directed by @pallottalorenzo , was presented in Competition in the Italian Documentaries section in the last 41. @torinofilmfestival . The documentary is set in Antarctica, where in 1988 a ship found itself escaping from the grip of the ice and eventually reaching Terra Nova Bay. Thirty-five years later, in 2023 the Italian icebreaker ship Ā«Laura BassiĀ» follows the same route, reaching the southernmost point on the planet, which no ship had ever reached before.
We tackled the title design of Terra Nova, immersing ourselves in the retro technological aesthetic of the late 1980s and the spirit of searching beyond analog limits that the film evokes.

Andrea Gatopoulos' debut feature-length documentary, the conclusion of a trilogy on man and technology by the filmmaker, is set to premiere in 41. @torinofilmfestival .
The film was born out of its author's encounter with David Rumsey and the immense digital archive dedicated to historical cartography to which he has devoted the last 30 years of his life, and which he calls his poem.
In FEDRAhub we were entrusted with the creation of the poster, for which we were inspired by Renaissance cartography by making a freehand digital collage from a material of more than 70 historical maps by Mercatore and Giovanni Antonio Rizzi-Zannoni.
A research that combines the functionality of the map object with beauty and human creativity in restoring the horizon of distant worlds, as blurred and unreachable as the protagonist's mission.

Renata lives in a small country town where time seems to have stopped, and life follows the rhythm of rural activities. During the summer Renata gets her first period. A sense of upset arises within her when she realizes that ancient folk beliefs around menstruation influence the lives of women of the place.
Chello 'ncuollo, written and directed by Olga Torrico @olgachefudge , premieres today within the 21st edition of @alicenellacitta , in the Short Waves - Panorama Italia section, at 18.30 in @auditoriumconciliazione . Don't miss out!
For this project, we oversaw the illustration and design of a poster that encapsulated the rural world and the journey of adulthood begun by its protagonist, with the help of a generative artificial intelligence.

For Ā«Black Eyed DogĀ», a stop-motion animated short film written and directed by @cinozolfanelli , presented at the upcoming 21st edition of @alicenellacitta , FedraHub created the poster and title design.
Franco is a child who loves to venture into the trees and photograph insects and small animals, which he observes in wonder. One day, during one of his expeditions, he comes across an impossible creature: a huge, monstrous floating fish. The trauma of this vision changes him forever: he becomes obsessed with the creature and draws it repeatedly, over many years, trying to reproduce it perfectly.
The titles are handmade (like every other element in the film!) and embellished with drawings that echo those of the protagonist portraying an eerie creature.

The choice of the painting by artist and producer @marcocrispano , enhances the ritual and symbolic dimension of the film while exposing its deeply crafted and concrete nature and identity.

"An Endless Sunday", @alainparroni 's debut feature film, screens today at the 80th Venice Film Festival in the Horizons section.
It portraits Brenda, Alex and Kevin between the provinces and the heart of the great Italian capital, Rome. When Brenda discovers she is pregnant, the three teenagers are faced for the first time with the responsibilities of growing up. Their independence and freedom, as well as their suffering as social outsiders, are tested.
With Fedra Hub, we took part in the post-production by designing and producing the film's titles.
"An Endless Sunday" will be presented at the 2023 Toronto Film Festival in the Discovery section and in all theaters starting September 14, distributed by Fandango.
