As a kid, I had recurring dream before sleep.
If I placed my hand on a part of my body and drifted off, that part would suddenly feel impossibly small… and at the same time infinite.
Then the same image would appear -
vast space in the cosmos, repeating again and again.
Years later, I discovered it felt similar to Alice in Wonderland Syndrome.
Maybe that’s why I still paint scale, emptiness, and the unknown.
