After spending our Anniversary in Bodega Bay we drove an hr and half to Napa just to experience her food! When we walked in she was coincidently speaking to a someone we only recently met (likkee what are even the odds of that 🤯) and got a chance to introduce ourselves.
We told her how we’re avid fans of her show @nextlevelcheffox w/ @gordongram and how I was raised with Black Koreans like herself (since mom dukes is a black belt in Tae Kwon Do 😅) that fed me Kimchi and seaweed growing up.
She expressed that her menu is an homage to both parts of her culture and we bonded a bit around having southern roots, as her family is from Mississippi.
The experience was a 10/10 from the overall vibe to the food and service #NoNotes
