It has been 1 month since we said "I do" and I finally am writing a post about it. 🥰
Different ones have been asking me "how is married life like?" and I will always respond with "the same lor.." Every other day he still reminds me that I have an entire lifetime ahead for him to disturb me at home. I guess all I can say is — SAME 😌
As I'm typing this I'm still trying to put into words the things that has just happened. Since the start of my career, at every interview when someone asks me why do I want to be a teacher, my answer is always the same — "I want to make a difference in the lives of others and I believe that children is our future." And indeed this career has lived out Proverbs 27:17 "As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another". I will never forget how this industry has shaped me into the person I am today. Every leader, colleague, parent, child has impacted me beyond a professional level as much as I set out to impact the lives of the children under my care.
In the past 9 years, never will I think that one day my class parents will plan a surprise party for me, with (almost) full cast. I mean, I am just a teacher doing my job, I really did not deserve this at all. I am beyond grateful for the support that you all have shown me over the past years, being a teacher isn't a one-man show and it would not have been this way without all of you. Thank you for being so enthusiastic and putting in all the effort when I send activities home for your child to do and for all the random funny pictures and videos! 🤭 They brighten up my day all the time!
Leaving something that I've grounded almost my entire identity in isn't the easiest thing to do, what more it is something that I love and do well in. But I will press on knowing the support I have from these people and those around me. 💪🏻💛 Till I see all the little ones again, I'm sure I will miss them very very much.
if you know me, you know that I hate to set goals because they are always very outcome driven. It is literally my most dreaded thing to do. On the other hand, I'll work towards a habit-based goal anyday!
In 2026, it is not going to be about having more, but trimming away what is not helpful and productive to me 💪🏻✨ We are blessed with options and it is about time that we funnel down our options to remove some mindshare on daily decision-making.
I agreed to this gig because I had the time and honestly just side-questing! But I guess life had other purpose for me in this period for the better 🫶🏻🫶🏻 In for just a good time but got much much more in return instead.
Truth be told, I started rehearsals feeling meh because everyone else knew one another (or at least have a friend) within the show except me. But the entire week of performing, working alongside these ones, and the conversations we had really got me reflecting real deep and rethinking about self and life 💛 The encouragement I received LITERALLY got me to tears (HAHA you know who you are). I dont think I've ever told people that I cried this many time in a week for whatever reason HAHAHA basically I was an emotional wreck la (video at the end for evidence 🤣)
As someone that has performed in recitals and a few shows, I have (unfortunately) NEVER been energised by a crowd before until THIS SHOW. And that feeling is crazy!!! I will never want to forget this and I hope I get to experience more of it in the years to come!

I've never thought about my relationship with money until recently. Those that knows me knows that I'm EASILY HAPPY AND SATISFIED, not just with other people but my relationship with money as well. The world is a rat race of who has MORE who is FASTER, but sometimes we also need to know what is ENOUGH for the moment and take a little breather.
