I don’t know these people but what I do know is that even if people are not racist or sexist at all, the racist and sexist systems that exist have created a by product called proximity. 80% of white people have all white networks. This is how someone can walk randomly on the street and this happen, whether in London, America, or anywhere. In many aspects our world is socially segregated. One reason so little venture capital money gets into the hands of Black and Brown people is because of this example right here! In venture capital, 92% of the investors/check writers are white men. We understand @fearless.fund we have to diversify the investors in order to diversify the investments. Because even with racism and sexism aside you have proximity where people will do what they know and invest in what is in their direct network. What were your thoughts after watching? The @fearlessfundafrica launch in Ghana 🇬🇭 was nothing short of amazing! Five talented, highly educated African female entrepreneurs took the stage and pitched their businesses, they were the selected finalist out of hundreds of applicants. The lucky winner of the 100,000 GHS grant was Khadija Talalawa CEO & Co-Founder of Cheer Natives with Cheer Up beverages. The event was filled with attendees as we spent the first half of the show introducing our new loan product catered to women entrepreneurs in FMCG. Thanks to @ups for your unwavering support for female entrepreneurs. Your partnership has made all of this possible. The event planning, execution, and decor was all done by @tamarabjonah of @lionheartevents . I am very grateful to everyone who came out to support us and thankful to our team for working daily on our debut! 📸 @ayubatankophotography

Today, In honor of Women’s History Month, we celebrate women like @arlanwashere who are shifting the narrative around access, ownership, and opportunity. Too often, brilliant ideas go unfunded, not because they lack value, but because they lack access. That’s why we’re committed to changing that. ✨If you’re a woman entrepreneur ready to build, grow, and scale your vision, this is your reminder that capital exists for you. Explore funding opportunities available through Fearless Fund: fearless.fund Apply today and take the next step toward ownership and generational wealth. #WomensHistoryMonth #BlackWomenInBusiness #FearlessFund #WomenEntrepreneurs #AccessToCapital

We’re betting big on AFRICA—and you should too! Many of you have asked how to become part of this movement at @FearlessFundAfrica . If you are looking to invest, comment “AFRICA” below and we will be in touch with the details. The best part? You don’t have to be an accredited investor to participate. We are opening the doors for anyone to help fuel Africa’s growth. When you partner with our Africa Fund, you’re securing a guaranteed annual 10% return while driving real, measurable change. Historically, our products and programs have been reserved for institutional investors. This is the first time the public can invest alongside our major partners. While we planned to announce this later, the overwhelming surge of excitement in our DMs, emails, and calls led us to share this opportunity with you now. For those who don’t know us: We are the world’s first venture capital firm built by women of color, for women of color backed by institutions like Bank of America, JPMorgan Chase, PayPal, Costco, and more. Our Track Record: • Two successful 8-figure venture funds. • A historic $240M loan program supporting under-resourced founders. • Over $5M in non-dilutive grants awarded to women of color founders. In Africa, we are building the first microfinance fund dedicated exclusively to women in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) space. We look forward to sharing more about this opportunity with you.
