Echo in the Grid, 24” x 36” acrylic and vinyl on canvas.
From “Fever Bloom” collection.
✨ Swipe to see details ✨
This is probably one of the most simplistic paintings I’ve ever made, and honestly it felt weird. It felt too clean, not messy enough, and very digital. Maybe I played too many Nintendo games as a kid…
To me, this piece makes me think about how we live chronically online and what “connection” even means anymore. We have unlimited access to each other, and because of that, connection can sometimes start to feel expected, performative, or fragile. Community exists here — we communicate, we interact — but sometimes it feels more like a simulation than something we can hang in to. These algorithms really do be having us in a chokehold.
It reminds me of growing up playing games like Minecraft, Mario Kart, and Mario Party with friends (and still do) — moments that felt simple, social, and real. That familiarity contrasts with how isolated we (me) can feel now, even while being constantly surrounded by people online.
At the end of the day, we’re all lonely souls looking for connection- even if it’s through pixels.
And maybe that’s the comforting part — realizing we’re not really alone in that feeling, even if we’re still searching 🌎🌐👾🎮🌱

What Spills, Still Grows, 38” x 46” acrylic on canvas.
From “Fever Bloom” Collection
✨ Swipe for details! ✨
This piece feels like a little love letter to the parts of my culture I learned through the people around me. The bright ceramics, the flowers, the colors that feel loud and soft at the same time — it’s all the Dominican side of me blending with the American side.
I didn’t grow up fully immersed in one world or the other. A lot of what I know comes from stories, family, and the small things that “spill over” into everyday life. And somehow, even the pieces that feel secondhand still grow into something real and meaningful.
I still struggle with being “a no sabo kid,” wanting to feel connected but also feeling a little disconnected or pushed aside through jokes. But honestly… it’s up to me, not them. I can belong in my own way. I can hold both sides without proving anything. I’m just a spirit moving through both worlds — and that’s enough.

Dreamfield
40” x 68” — acrylic, oil pastel & spray paint on canvas
From the Fever Bloom collection 🌼
Dreamfield is an imagined place where feelings spill out however they want to. Sunflowers appear throughout because people often associate me with them — they’ve become a symbol of my own energy, so they show up naturally in the worlds I paint.
The large sunflower stands like a gentle guide, looking down with a soft, steadying presence. The smaller sunflower losing petals — overwhelmed but still reaching upward — feels like the part of me that struggles but doesn’t give up. Together, they form a bridge between two sides of this inner landscape: the tired self and the resilient self.
In the background, more sunflowers quietly rise. They’re not the focus, but they’re there — like the people who stand with you even when you’re falling apart, offering support without needing to be seen.
Creating this piece felt like painting a conversation between versions of myself, witnessed by the ones who’ve held space for me.
One of my favorite pieces from the collection, it was a different piece before, I just reworked the layers to fit as a landscape. I used mostly one brush to make the landscape and it was actually so fun but so challenging to do. And one brush for the stems. the rest of the background was already there, I just added to it.
I have a curated “mood” playlist for the collection, so you can hear the music I listened to while creating the artwork. Link in bio.
